CELEBRATE YOUTH DAY WITH MTV’s CAMPUS RADIO TAKEOVER

Campus Radio DJs AB Da Costa and Nick Explicit from UJ FM, Lwazi Bondo and Kevin Barnard from Voice of Wits, and Cassy Clarke and Fifi Matsela from Tuks FM are taking over MTV (DStv Channel 130)  in celebration of Youth Weekend & Youth Day 2014. 

Join these talented local campus DJs as they bring their own personal flava to the MTV airwaves between 9:30am and 4pm from Saturday 14 June to Monday 16 June, hosting the channel from the roof of an open top double decker bus!  





Hit the road with us this weekend on the high highways and byways of Gauteng as the Campus radio stations battle to make MTV their own!  Each varsity takes turns to anchor one day of the Takeover, UJ on Saturday, VOW on Sunday and Tuks on Monday! Games, silliness and general banter will all be part of the fun.  





Day one sees the UJ guys taking us on a tour to Soweto where we put Youth Day into context while checking out some of the sights.  On day two, the VOW crew takes us around the centre of the city, stopping at some cool spots.  Finally, we collect the Tuks FM crew at the Gautrain station in Rosebank for a tour around the Parks, Greenside and Melville before heading off into the sunset…
